A while back I wrote a one slide presentation on Google about 5 interesting facts about the country of Switzerland. Without further ado here are 10 quick facts about the Central European country.
1. Switzerland is also known as Confoederatio Helvetica in Latin
2. Switzerland has one of the lowest crime rates amongst all of the industrialized Countries
3. They have a population of approximately 8 million people
4. Switzerland has FOUR official languages. They are German, French, Italian, Rhaeto Romansch
5. Their largest city is Zurich
6. Their capital is Bern
7. The total area of Switzerland is 41 285 square kilometres or 15 940 square miles
8.Their currency is the Swiss Franc
9. Their motto is " one for all, all for one" or " unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno" in Latin
10. Their anthem is called " Swiss Psalm"
